The client
Nature's Colors Inc is a plant nursery in Miami, run by owner Roberto Pando. Like most South Florida nurseries, the business is bilingual by necessity: customers ask about plants, availability, and wholesale orders in English and Spanish, often outside business hours, and almost always on WhatsApp.
The problem
Every one of those messages needed Roberto or his team to stop working and type an answer. Plant availability. Quantities. Delivery. Hours. The same questions, twice over — once per language. During business hours it was an interruption. After hours, it was a missed customer.
What we built
An AlmaReach assistant on a dedicated US WhatsApp number, trained specifically on Nature's Colors' business:
- ✓Bilingual, automatically. The assistant detects whether the customer writes in English or Spanish and answers natively in that language — no menus, no “press 2 for Spanish.”
- ✓A working order flow. It guides customers through plant selection and quantities — including multi-item wholesale requests — and produces a clean order summary for the nursery to fulfill.
- ✓Honest escalation. Anything the AI shouldn't decide goes straight to Roberto's team, with the conversation attached.
- ✓Business-hours aware. It knows when the nursery is open and answers accordingly — at 7:30 AM on a Saturday and at midnight on a Sunday.
